Streaks is a polished personal habit tracker for Apple devices, with Apple Health and Apple Watch built in. StreakParty is built for doing habits with other people, on iPhone and Android. If you mostly track habits on your own, Streaks is excellent. If you want friends checking in alongside you, that's what StreakParty is for.

Where Streaks is better
- Apple Health and Apple Watch. Streaks can tick off a habit by itself when your step count or Activity rings come in, and you can complete tasks from your wrist. StreakParty has neither.
- Across your Apple devices. iPhone, iPad, Mac and Watch, synced through iCloud.
- Pay once. No subscription to think about.
- Private by design. Shared tasks go through iCloud, not Streaks' servers.
Where StreakParty is better
- Android. StreakParty works on iPhone and Android, so a mixed group of friends can all join. Streaks is Apple-only.
- Built around the group. Every habit can be a party with its own leaderboard and group chat. Friends can send a boost when you're wobbling, or a nudge once they've done theirs.
- Photo proof. A check-in can carry a photo the party can see.
- Free to start. Unlimited personal habits cost nothing, and you only need an account when you bring friends in.
- Limits as well as goals. A limit party counts the weeks you stayed under a line, such as takeaway once a week.
Which should you choose?
Choose Streaks if you're on Apple devices, track habits mostly on your own and want Health and Watch to do some of the ticking for you. Choose StreakParty if the point is doing it with friends, especially if any of them are on Android.
