StreakParty is a habit app where a small group of friends builds the same habit together and checks in with photo proof, not just a tick. You start a streak in a "party", invite the people you want keeping you honest, and each check-in, photo included, shows up for the whole party. When you skip, it isn't an app that notices. It's the friends who already did theirs.
Most habit apps with a social side rely on people ticking a box. In StreakParty, your friends can see the run, the evidence, and who hasn't checked in yet.
Why a habit tracker with friends works better than one on your own
A solo habit app is easy to ignore. It sends a notification, you swipe it away, the streak resets, and eventually you delete the app. Nobody else ever knows. Doing a habit alongside people you know changes that: your check-in shows up for them, theirs shows up for you, and nobody wants to be the one who breaks the chain.
StreakParty is built around that one idea. Tracking is the easy part. The group noticing is the part that keeps you going.
How it works
- Start a party. Pick a habit and how often: daily, weekdays, weekly or monthly, and more than once a period if that's the habit ("run 3 times a week"). Or start from a ready-made one such as Morning Run, Read 20 Pages or Save Weekly.
- Invite your friends. Send an invite from the party to friends already on StreakParty, or share a link through WhatsApp, Messages or anything else. Accepting makes you friends and puts them in the party.
- Check in. One tap marks the day done. Add a photo as proof, a note, how you felt before and after, and, if the party tracks one, a number: kilometres, minutes, pages, dollars or weight × reps.
- Keep each other going. A live leaderboard ranks the party by current streak. Send a boost (an encouraging quote or a note) to a friend who's wobbling, or a nudge ("I've done mine, your turn") to the ones who haven't checked in yet.
What makes it different
- Photo proof the group can see. A tick is easy to fake to yourself. A photo your friends can see is not.
- Streak freezes that nobody can hide. Miss a day and you can cover it within the next couple of days so a long run survives. The frozen day shows on the calendar as a snowflake for the whole party, so a streak can be saved but never quietly repaired.
- You see what's about to break. Your parties sort by whichever is closest to its deadline, and a long streak with only hours left is marked as at risk.
- A reminder that knows when to stay quiet. An evening reminder fires only if you still haven't checked in. If you've already finished, you're left alone.
- Chat built in. Direct messages and group chats, so the party can talk without moving to another app.
- Limits as well as goals. A party can count the weeks you stayed under a line, such as takeaway once a week. See cutting back with friends.
Who it's for
Friends or partners building a habit together, running clubs and gym buddies, study groups, reading challenges, people saving towards something, and anyone who has tried a habit app on their own and stopped opening it.
Is it free?
Yes. The free plan gives you unlimited personal habits, up to 3 shared parties with up to 6 people in each, 30 days of history and 2 streak freezes. Boosts, nudges, chat and friends are free on every plan and always will be, because they're what makes the app work. There are no ads.
StreakParty Pro, a monthly or annual subscription, adds unlimited shared parties of up to 50 people, your full history, 3 freezes a month and a reminder at a time you choose. Current prices are shown in the app.
You don't need an account to start. A fresh install works straight away for your own habits, and you create a free account when you invite or join friends.
Your privacy
A new party is private: only the people you invite can join it. You can make it public later, which lets your members' friends find and join it. Searching by name only finds your friends, their friends and people in your parties, so strangers can't look you up. More detail is in the FAQ and the privacy policy.
